Hiring a Stylist
Here are some sample tips a good stylist can provide:
Try an animal print.
Animal print has become a classic neutral and is most popular in fall. If you have cool colouring, you may not enjoy wearing gold or tan near your face. Try accenting with accessories, such as bags, scarves, belts or footwear.
Try a French Tuck.
French Tuck or half-tuck is a casual way to wear your shirt partially tucked in so that you show part of your waistline. When you emphasize the waistline at least a little, you balance your proportions and look taller and leaner.
Wear white year round.
Coco Chanel wore white all year round. It was a staple in her wardrobe. Elegant women glide around Paris in their white jeans, wool and cashmere double-breasted peacoats all winter long. The trick is not to wear white on a day when there will be precipitation. It is impossible to get those splashback stains out of the back of light-coloured pants. Try pairing cognac shoes and bags with white jeans and add a scarf or jacket for warmth.
